David's work has been recognized with over 170 international awards. He has received honors from prestigious competitions such as Cannes Lions (x5 + 10 Shortlists), D&AD (x4), One Show (x3), LIA (x4) and Clio Awards (x6). Many of his campaigns have also achieved top accolades, including two Grand Prix at The Drum Awards, two at Ojo de Iberoamérica, one at El Dorado, and one at YouTube Awards, showcasing the creativity and impact of his ideas.
He was ranked as the #1 Creative Director in Colombia in 2022 by The One Show, and in 2015, early in his career, he represented his country in the Young Lions Global competition, winning the silver medal.
